Intershop reduces number of employees with 60 or around 25% of the company - before christmas. Intershop have had only one quarter since 2001 with profit - and have shown losses in the million euro range quarter after quarter which will result in a questionable future looking a year or so ahead. Continueing with wrong strategy is not solved by reducing the company it just continues the pain.
The revenue ratio of 20%/80% - Licenses/consulting makes it questionable if Intershop can continue as a software company. Intershop is on the stockexchange with the ownership spread over many small investors - with no strategic investors - makes it questionable if there is any chance to get more money taking into consideration that the company have only being loosing money since 2001 and that there are no change in strategy that could give thrust in a profitable future .....
